Cancellation Policy

1. Notice Period

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Notice can be given by email at hello@shaysdrivingschool.com, on WhatsApp, or by phone.

2. Late Cancellation & No-Shows

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, and no-shows, may be charged as a used lesson.

3. Exceptions

We will fairly consider exceptions for illness, family emergencies or other genuine circumstances beyond your control. Reasonable supporting information may be requested.

4. Cancelling a Package or Special Deal

If you cancel a package that includes a special deal or promotional discount, the special-deal benefits are forfeited and completed lessons will be recalculated at the standard per-lesson rate that applied at the time of purchase. Any balance is handled in terms of our Refund Policy.

5. When We Have to Cancel

If Shay's Driving School has to cancel a lesson due to vehicle breakdown, instructor unavailability, unsafe weather, operational reasons or other circumstances beyond our control, you do not lose the lesson. We will:

• reschedule the lesson at a mutually convenient time;
• credit the lesson back to your package; or
• where appropriate, refund the affected lesson.

Where reasonable, we may also add a complimentary lesson as a goodwill gesture.

6. Statutory Rights Preserved

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or any other law that may not lawfully be excluded.
